opportunity for an experienced Engineer to get involved in looking after Production Engineering Projects across 3 of their factories, working directly with fast-paced blow moulding machines and production processes.\u00a0 This role is an ideal fit for an energetic natural self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, who takes pride in maintaining a positive work ethic and excellent attention to detail, who would like to build a career with a great company.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong><u>KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS<\/u><\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Responsible for all machine and plant maintenance<\/li><li>Working with the Production team to ensure reliable machine and plant performance<\/li><li>Identification and achievement of measurable technical and process developments and improvements.<\/li><li>Ensure critical spares are in stock and managed effectively.<\/li><li>Ensuring engineering excellence in the Plant<\/li><li>Ensuring a safe working environment by ensuring Safety Best practices<\/li><li>Ensuring Housekeeping and all Company standards are consistently maintained.<\/li><li>Working on continuous improvement projects on the line in partnership with Production<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong><u>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES<\/u><\/strong><\/p><ul><li><u>Engineering Degree (BSc\/BEng Mechanical\/Electrical, Industrial or Mechatronics) ESSENTIAL<\/u><\/li><li>2 &#8211; 3 years\u2019 experience in an Engineering role in a Manufacturing environment, preferably packaging or FMCG related<\/li><li>An understanding of Continuous Production processes would be advantageous<\/li><li>Logical and critical thinking skills essential for this position<\/li><li>Self &#8211; motivated, energetic and ability to motivate others<\/li><li>Ability to make tough decisions and manage complexity<\/li><li>Strong communication and people skills<\/li><li>Hands on and get things done type of personality (action
