N6, Plastics Experience and Own Transport are essential.<\/p><p><strong><u>Desired Qualifications and Skills<\/u><\/strong><\/p><ul><li>N6 technical qualification minimum.<\/li><li>5+ years in a plastic production environment.<\/li><li>5+ years in fault-finding and process control.<\/li><li>Strong communication skills.<\/li><li>Own transport and driver\u2019s license.<\/li><li>Willingness for overtime and standby as needed.<\/li><li>Strong understanding of processing materials.<\/li><li>Excellent attention to detail.<\/li><li>Outstanding problem-solving skills for equipment issues.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities include:<\/u><\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Assist production in achieving efficiencies by promptly attending to machinery and auxiliary equipment needs.<\/li><li>Liaise with suppliers for timely installation of new machinery.<\/li><li>Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot process-related tooling.<\/li><li>Analyze machine performance and quality systems using technology.<\/li><li>Monitor and adjust equipment performance as needed.<\/li><li>Troubleshoot and solve department problems.<\/li><li>Stay updated on processing technology; implement improvements where cost-effective.<\/li><li>Maintain good departmental relations and housekeeping.<\/li><li>Assist maintenance team with equipment installation, repair, and replacement.<\/li><li>Test and calibrate equipment for proper operation.<\/li><li>Conduct research to develop new technologies or improve equipment.<\/li><li>Injection and compression moulding experience is advantageous.<\/li><li>Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLC, AC\/DC Drives, and electronics.<\/li><li>Train production staff in effective equipment use.<\/li><li>Understand polymers used in HDPE product processing.<\/li><li>Communicate with and manage suppliers and contractors.<\/li><li>Manage projects and spares levels for process-related
