Completed Trade Test, Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience essential.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong><u>Desired Qualifications and Skills<\/u><\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Matric certificate or equivalent<\/li><li>Qualified Millwright<\/li><li>Having previous injection &amp; compression moulding experience is advantageous<\/li><li>Hydraulic and pneumatic experience essential<\/li><li><u>Have at least 5 years\u2019 maintenance experience in a production environment<\/u><\/li><li>An ability to interact with employees at different levels<\/li><li>Good communication skills and an active team player<\/li><li>Logical and systematic problem solver<\/li><li>A passion for Quality<\/li><li>An ability to handle conflict and to diffuse it constructively<\/li><li>A willingness to work overtime<\/li><li>Have a proactive \u201cCan do\u201d attitude towards their work<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities include:<\/u><\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Conducting and co-coordinating all maintenance on machinery and equipment in the department<\/li><li>Completing maintenance schedules and programmes for each machine as per supplier recommendation<\/li><li>Building and controlling an inventory of spares for the machines<\/li><li>Properly maintaining maintenance records as per ISO 9001 Quality System<\/li><li>Attending to machine breakdowns<\/li><li>Ordering of necessary equipment and tools for the factory when necessary<\/li><li>Attending relevant meetings i.e. DRM\u2019s Production Meetings, etc where necessary<\/li><li>Assist production in achieving optimum efficiencies<\/li><li>Advising on and implementing technical improvements where appropriate and cost-effective<\/li><li>Actively ensuring that all machines are serviced, cared for, and maintained appropriately<\/li><li>Be available for callouts\/after-hours<\/li><li>Ensuring that the machines are running for night shifts<\/li><li>Seek and implement continuous improvement
