ROLE:                      Regional Training Coordinator

LOCATION:             Diep River, Cape Town

REPORT TO:           Training Manager

A national packaging manufacturer has an opportunity for an energetic Regional Training Coordinator to join their Business School Team, based in Cape Town. The primary focus of the role is to coordinate and monitor all training, assessments and quality-related activities at a level of efficiency that will optimise the effectiveness of the business school’s objectives and propel the broader vision forward.  The successful candidate will be offered significant opportunity for long term personal and professional development, surrounded by like-minded people. 

Key Performance Areas:

  • Administer effective training co-ordination when scheduling annual training
  • Conduct effective weekly and monthly scheduling and co-ordination
  • Ensure effective training intervention preparation
  • Ensure effective training post – intervention administration
  • Provide effective training administration support on the day and post course intervention
  • Maintain effective training administration for special PBS programmes
  • Administer on and co-ordinate the training assessment process
  • Accurate implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all learning interventions
  • Provide engaged learner support across PBS training processes
  • Conduct and follow through on the facilitators’ administrative support process
  • Administer on and co-ordinate the external training process
  • Administer on and co-ordinate the quality assurance process
  • Implement effective workforce engagement, communication and collaboration methods across business
  • Focus on developing effective team relationships to contribute to a positive working environment
  • Administer an effective meeting support system
  • Ensure an accurate and timeous reporting system
  • Accurate implementation, monitoring and evaluation of PBS finance process
  • Ongoing focus on self-development, agree feedback processes and identify support opportunities

Desired skills, attributes and qualifications:

  • Degree in HR, BA, or Education
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a training environment
  • SDF Qualification will be a benefit
  • High energy levels and the ability to multitask
  • Strong computer literacy skills, with a special focus on EXCEL
  • Be meticulous
  • An ability to use your own initiative, and to be assertive
  • An ability to interact with employees at different levels
  • Results Driven
  • Good communication skills
  • Good Numeracy Skills and Excellent attention to detail
